Good Wine goes with Good Food at Lotus Cuisine of India
Here are our three simple suggestions for good wines to pair with this very delicious food!
- Curry with chicken, seafood or vegetables calls out for wines with bright acidity and fresh fruit. Wonderful options are Riesling, Pinot Gris or Gewurztraminer.
- Curry with meats is best with aromatic reds, light tannins, lots of flavors. Recommended are Syrah and cool climate Zinfandel.
- Creamy, vegetable-based dishes are great with wines with racy acidity and full flavors. Magic with Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay or Pinot Gris.
OK, one more tip! There is one wine where you cannot go wrong! Rose all Day—with everything here.
Two more things to remember when pairing wine with Indian cuisine: Low alcohol and clean flavors are best!
