Ending Illegal Wildlife Trade In Our Lifetime
On March 10 at Marin Green Drinks we’ll have guest speaker John Baker, Managing Director of WildAid. WildAid works to reduce global consumption of wildlife products and to increase local support for conservation efforts. WildAid works to reduce global consumption of wildlife products, increase local support for conservation efforts, protect fragile marine reserves from illegal fishing and shark finning, enhance public and political will for anti-poaching efforts, and reduce climate change impacts.
John will share with us how WildAid is protecting wildlife by using awareness campaigns to change behavior and reduce demand for wildlife products like shark fin, ivory, rhino horn and sea turtle shell.
