Take Out and Delivery Now a Necessity
The Lotus Family of Restaurants in Marin County fall under a “Shelter-In-Place” Public Health Order that now limits business functions to only the most essential needs. The Public Health Order is in effect at least until April 7, 2020.
What does “Shelter-In-Place” mean? It is essentially social distancing to the highest degree. It limits the activities of restaurants and other facilities that prepare and serve food. Restaurants in Marin County and nearby counties are ONLY allowed to operate for delivery or carry out.

What kinds of businesses are considered essential, according to the Public Health Order?
Why the Shelter-In-Place Order? Social distancing is one of the most effective approaches to slow the transmission of communicable disease. The shelter-at-home order follows new data of increasing local transmission of COVID-19.
We encourage all our patrons to follow this vital health order. And now more than ever, we encourage you to help your community and support your local merchants. We are all in this together.
